Wow!! That is amazing! She sang this last night at the holiday hop and she was talking about how she gets unsure whether to drop the F bomb or not during the song just in case there’s kids in the audience. So she didn’t say it. But I LOVE this cover!! Her high notes give me the chills and she shows soo much emotion during the song, especially at the end of it!

The essence of Thom Yorke’s style comes from his pure emotion so much so that a cover would require actual emotion whether his ideals or personal connections.

Unfortunately, japhouze, you can’t like Ingrid Michaelson. According to your logic, anyone who is not european cannot feel this song. Well Ingrid is American, and not european. So by your logic, because you are not American, you cannot “feel” Ingrid. You lose.

from looking at the video, i’m pretty sure i was at this particular show. freaking amazing. i’ve loved the song ‘creep’ for a long time and i got chills listening to ingrid sing it live. europe, america…who the hell cares, she sounds amazing.
